Welcome to the YBPA website

Welcome to the website of the Young Black Positive Advocates (YBPA). Our website is a place where young people have a voice and can express their views on a wide range of issues that affect our day-to-day lives. It's a place where young people can start to provide solutions and new ideas to improve our own lives and those around us.

We hope that you will find the site informative, fun, and educational. It's a place where you can share ideas about improving the lives of young people whether in school, home, local community or elsewhere in the world.

All too often decisions and policies are made which have a direct impact on us, but with no formal communication or consultation with us. We want our voices heard, we are part of the solution not the problem.

the international ybpa

As well as sharing views with us here in the UK you have the opportunity to meet young people from other countries. Our site is also an international youth website where you can meet our friends in Jamaica, South Africa and the United States. This site is about thinking globally and act locally, working with other young people around the world to improve local conditions in our cities, towns and villages.

Check out our new forum The Global Village & share your thoughts on an international basis online.

If your school or youth group wishes to participate in our forums please contact us at forum@ybpa.com
